Winter Aspens at Sunrise, McClure Pass

Arriving early at the top of McClure Pass in early October, the aspens were in peak color when the first snow fell. The rising sun just hit the tops of the trees, making for a nice contrast between the yellow aspen and the cool blue snow in shadow.
